Hi, I'm Stefan and I'm the head brewer at Grebbestad Bryggeri on the Swedish west coast. I'm writing this blog to sporadically reflect on all things beer, and Porter in particular. I started homebrewing when I went to university back in 1987, and later had my own business importing beer to Sweden between 1999 and 2003. I then studied Brewing Technology at VBU Ludvika for two years before starting to work in Grebbestad.
I'm currently working at a project on my spare time to develop some own recipes and having them brewed commercially at other breweries for commission. Hopefully this will lead to the opportunity to start my own brewery sometime soon.
My favorite beers include Carnegie Porter and other Baltic Porters and Imperial Stouts, as well as any well made, geniune flavorful craft beer, particularly Lambics, Trappists and classic English bitters.
